Wordpress Theme Edit Required

Since the forum was rolled back, my post was lost so gonna repost individual ones. This is for the Wordpress theme edit I needed. I want to take this theme:


and edit the featured area. Now see that it will require some graphical edit and come code edit. I want the look to be very like this (I did it quick so it's obviously not aesthetically pleasing):



I won't need the arrows on the side because I don't need posts to show in this area. I want to be able to add the text on the left as shown in my edit, and the images on the right as shown in my edit. The crucial part is that I want the images to fade in and out to various images like on the icar theme:


I have worked with the icar theme before and the backend is nice; all I do is upload images and set the fade period and the result is like in the site above. The polished theme from Elegant Themes is more perfect though for the project I am working on so would like to edit it a bit to meet my needs. If anyone can make these edits, ya'll be saving me a lot of time.

Please give a quote on time and how much it would cost. Funny thing is, I just realized I have the psd files for the polished themes so I probably could have made a better representative of what I'm looking for, but if you can't 'get' it from the attached image, I can't do all that much better. I have the each of the themes so ya'll can use them for reference and the psd files for the Polished theme too that I can provide.

ETA: I forget who said they might could do it when I first posted this so if ya'll could re-post or message me, that'd be great. If I can't find someone soon, I'll tackle it myself, but would rather not. =P

ETA2: Removing the arrows is a simple code edit so you don't need to worry about that part--I made my request post before even looking at the code/layout completely.

I don't know where the best place to post this (and am thinking a section just to praise certain individuals we work with on this board wouldn't be such a bad idea..perhaps a subsection of the lounge even!), but the guy I got to help me was origin and he was phenomenal. While it was delayed, he still got back to me each time I asked to let me know he was still working on it and what he was doing.

I have never gotten an almost perfect first final draft from anyone in my outsourcing times. And the edits I wanted were 99% unforeseeable until the final was drafted up anyhow so not his fault at all. I even asked for more than I posted here (his fault--he asked if I needed anything else, so I figured might as well lol) and he was able to deliver as asked. Not even like half-assed or anything! I have gotten half-assed before and I know what half-assed looked like. I was so stoked when I got the finalized version; I couldn't believe how spot-on it was. He coded an options tab into the Theme options panel even! He made every attempt to make it so easy for me to use and succeeded. Went above and beyond expectations and that is perhaps why I am writing such a long review. I believe in good, honest, clean service and that is exactly what this guy provides. Pleasure to deal with and if I ever need anything outsourced that he can do, ya better believe I'm gonna find him! Love it!

Did want to add that I had him make some changes to not only the slider (and he did it far better than is shown in my example), but to the main page as well--both in layout and functionality. If anyone has played with this theme before, for him to do as noted in this OP and my added requests and even add an options tab to the theme, ya know it wasn't a biff-bam-boom type of deal. Seriously, great guy to deal with.
