I'm using the Statsurf WP plugin to track stats, supposed to be a newer version of statpress. It's pretty good as it shows date and time of google searches that went to your site. And generally lot more details than Awstats. But I found that it can be pretty inaccurate. Especially, after a while, the stat shows traffic/searches totally die off for some of my sites.
When i compare the stat to Awstat on my host cpanel, it still shows normal traffic. The numbers are definitely different. But then it also seems Awstat might have wrong stat too.
ie. for search 2 KW search terms
Statsurf Awstats
KW1 18 13
KW2 6 10
Neither is all higher or lower than the other.
Anyways, can anyone recommen d a good stat plugin. Is there a de facto one that everyone likes? Thanks alot.
