Wordpress site with the same name as a GOVT website... is it worth it?

I have been working on a website with the same name like government website. my site is with .com instead of .gov, and its Army related. i need suggestion and help if i should continue doing SEO for it and manage to get it attached with google adsense. will it be legal and worth it to work on a army related website of your country? i am just giving information on that website and guides to join the army. i am getting 20-50 organic traffic right now but i dont know what should i do next for approving adsense. website is complete and i have not done link building yet, only its social signals and branding are done.
