I can tell you the Wordpress dashboard is responsive, but it's not exactly mobile optimized. If you only need basic features such as blog posts and simple pages you should be fine. However, you are going to have issues with nearly every page builder and every plugin that uses a drag and drop interface. Best of luck!

I didn't want to discourage you, but it's going to take a lot of time and patience to work on Wordpress from mobile. On the other hand, Wix is a very underrated solution. If you don't need Wordpress' flexibility and building from a mobile device is essential, have a look at this: https://www.wix.com/mobile/wix-app

It can be done but it's very annoying! In mobile view it's not very optimized, if you set ur phone to desktop mode you have to zoom in a lot
