    Hello everyone!

I have 5 video courses that I wanna try to sell in my wordpress blog selling/integrating the products with shopify.

After client made the purchase he would have access to an area in my wp blog where the videos of that given course is.

My problem is that I can't find a solution to give the person who bhought let's say course number 1 acess only to that course in a page in my wp blog.

I thought about sending them a username and password after they made the purchase and giving them privilege to acess the course page.

Any idea how I could acomplish this?

    Thank you

Woocommerce would possibly be a better option. You can select to download the said product from a secure link. Or if you don't like that you can password protect an area of your Site and send the password to the customers email.

The advantage of this is that you won't be charged Shopify's premium and you will have complete control in your Wordpress Admin config to add new products, clone products and make changes in the future.

How is it possible they have no access to the course in the first place?

If I make like a member area and provide them a username and password so only people I give the credentials would have access.

Don't know if it's the best solution though.

The best solution will be how easy it would be to gain access to the members area. Nobody wants to purchase something and not have immediate access. You need to figure a way to allow them access straight away.
Nobody minds checking an email for a link, but if you're having to send the link, and it isn't in front of me there and then, then it simply wouldn't be good enough in my eyes as a buyer.

If it's Virtual you can add a buyer's note once purchased with a password. However, I'm not so sure how secure this would be for your members area over time. Maybe it would be a good idea until you figured a fool-proof way for the future?

Yes this would be easier, but wouldn't it require setting up SSL certificates and sending payments through their servers while shopify saves all that trouble?

That is my dilema. I have the plan but don't know the best way to execute it. I would want the access right away to, so me provinding the credentials would have to be something automated like after the purchase and email to the costumer.

Payment is through Paypal, but, you can set up other methods in the Payments panel. Search Google for some WooCommerce tutorials, you might find something a little better then what I'm suggesting..
