So i finally set up a wordpress blog last night, which is about funny pictures, videos and stuff like that. I installed the plugin called "all in one seo" to change things like the meta tags.

But now i would like to ask you guys, do you know other plugins for wordpress that helps the site, to rank it better in search engines?

    Best regards.

Yoast is a pretty good plugin, but don't rely on everything is says. Research first, because it has a lot of outdated stuff for SEO.

Plugins are useful but try to understand what they do.
Learn on-site SEO and you will get the most from your SEO plugin.

Plugin can only help you with ease to edit the site meta. But if you don't have much knowledge what to use in your site title, description, keywords etc.. then no any plugin can help you to get good SERPs. First learn the on-site SEO factors then even you manually add the meta description, it'll work best for you.

I referenced back to this from a website as basic information about onsite SEO.

Then I would focus on using your plugin, there is obviously much more information out there but the basics should be essential in covering.
