Wordpress SEO help needed

Hello,
After reading a long time on this forum I decided to take action. I picked a niche and got a nice domain + hosting.
Now I just set up a site with wordpress. I have installed a theme etc.. Now I'm looking for good plugins. What plugins can you recommend and especially about SEO? I have read theads about wordpress plugins but wich SEO pluginn is the best?

  2. dagon design sitemap generator (two thumbs up!)
  3. privacy policy
  4. contact 7
  5. all in one seo (will later migrate to platinum seo)
  6. yet another related posts (best of the best)
  7. related posts slider (want to enhance?)
  8. zip poster (priceless tool)
  9. wp robot (my master framework. But I am never using it in a conventional way. If you think wprobot does only autoposting, you are using only 1% of it!. Do not forget to change folder name in cpanel to be safe.)
  10. frontpage slideshow (you must try it)
  11. igit related posts (I hope the name is correct)
  12. top 10 (unknown treasure)
  13. statpress reloaded (will give up later and use analytics)
  14. my users ping for me (very good)
  15. socialize (using it in a different way)
  16. rss footer (so necessary)
  17. why do work adsense (best adsense tool)
  18. all in one favicon (my favorite for all sites)
  19. w3 total cache (anything better?)
  20. add to any (some social activity)
  21. fixed social buttons (an appealing way of enhancing your site)
  22. xml sitemaps (standard)
  23. pc robots.txt (must have)
  24. gd star rating (use it, use it)
  25. Akismet (you all know it)
  26. web n i n j a auto tagging (will replace it with a better one. Any opinion?)
 
Use a tag plugin also. Then make the tags typo of the niche your blog is focused on. That can give you thousands of free traffic from google. If you have the time, you can also create some blogger blogs with typo domains and link them to your wordpress blog .... OMG!
 
Normally you can use All in one SEO , its very usefull and best .
 
i use all in one seo and thats pretty much worked well for my sites
 
Thanks everybody for all of this usefull info. I can resume working on my blogs now:)
 
I do not want to behave like a megalomaniac. Just use my list and you will need nothing else because it is the outcome of experience of years (of course not only mine but also lots of people).

Were you getting an updated ping list ?
 
for seo use All in 1 SEO , also use some other necessary plugins like xml sitemaps , contact 7 etc .
 
Yoast SEO... I think it might also be called SEO ultimate or something.
 
Shezboy has a couple of threads for wordpress autoblogs.
These are nice techniques, I've tried them myself and they work well.
Also provides a video to show the setup step-by-step.

Normally you can use All in one SEO , its very usefull and best .
 
I use All in one SEO and Google Analytics plugin. I find them to be everything I need.
 
If you're simply talking about SEO plugins, and not anything else, I use a bit of an integrated system of a few different plugins:

All in One SEO Pack - Because it works.

Strictly Auto Tags - this little plugin will check the posts that are being feed in and put the most relevant tags on it based on word density. It's a good first run, and I don't have to do it.

Auto SEO Tags - after Strictly Auto Tags does its work this one takes over, every time someone comes to a post on one of my blogs from one of the search engines (Big G, Yahoo, etc.), it uses the search terms they used to discover my post, and it automatically updates the tags on that post with those search terms.

SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 - This plugin uses all the search terms people use to find my blog and creates a search term tag cloud to help with SEO.

Google XML Sitemaps - Because Google bots need a map sometimes to find all the great content you have to share.

The following 3 aren't specifically SEO, but G likes to see them, and does add ranking for them...

Contact Form 7 - Because some search engine companies (Big G) want people to be able to contact you, like you're a real business. So, with this one all I had to do was drop in an email address, and it set up a very nice contact form for me. Easy...

Privacy Policy - I used to use a plugin for this, now I just create a page and paste in a template I use. G00gle likes this on websites.

Terms of Use - Just like with Privacy Policy.
