Wordpress Reset Database and Backup

Hello i want to reset my wordpress with everything in it, but i dont want to lose my posts which are like 2000 pages, i have cpu usage problems with wordpress and thats why i want to reset it, root files are kinda messed up and i tihnk its best way to format

if i reset database reinstall everything from 0 will i be able to add me previous posts from backup folders ?

I had a friend try to do something like this awhile ago, went ahead and deleted everything. Whatever you do, make super sure it will do what you want before you start deleting! Good luck
