Wordpress questions

Hi,

I'm currently working on my blog and I just can't understand two things on Wordpress:

1. How do I put widgets on other pages than the static front page? I seem to only be able to work on the front page.

2. How do I avoid posts being shown twice or more times on the page?

Are you on a custom theme? Try one of the built in themes (twentysixteen or any other twenty) and see if you are having the same problem.
 
I got the MH Food Magazine theme. Could it be that? But in the example it does have a menu as well, so the other pages must be filled I guess.
 
Your questions show that you don't know much about the wordpress dashboard, at least to the level where you can understand what we're saying to you. My advice for you is to watch a couple of videos on what you can do with the dashboard, and then ask your questions.

If you're really new to wordpress you should play around with a simpler theme to figure out how it all works. MH Food Magazine has a LOT of customizations that will make it hard to learn with.

Please mention your theme name, Static page works change each & every theme :-)

 
You need plugin for this. please tell me more about what you are saying? I mean which widget

As others have said, you need to stick with a simple theme. The Wordpress standard ones are great for testing out widgets, I personally use TwentySixteen myself.
 
Hi Cazina can you maybe give the URL so i can take a look which theme you got etc.. And just what the others says, if you want t learn wordpress its good to start with a easy to manage theme.

Custom widget area are offered with premium theme. If you place a widget in it, like in the sidebar, it will show your widget in every post of your blog for example.

You can also create your own widget areas if you are comfortable with php -> Edit the single.php file for blog post
 
For widget, please check your page setting. May be you used full width.
