Okay, here is one of many questions that I'm sure will follow on this thread.

I'm trying to add an image to the side of a Link under widgets. When I click to edit the image I put the image source code and then I enter the URL of the picture. When I press update, it disappears. When I just put the text link for the image, it is huge and goes off the page. That's why I went to the html source. Is putting the html source code into image address throwing it off, or what?
 
The widget is probably set to remove the extra html code. Depending on the theme or plugin you're using you might be able to change that setting.

Without making any changes though, you could fix it by just saving a copy of the pic in the size you want it to be. Then just put the link for that new image in the widget and it should be the right size then without any additional html code.
