I have come across a method regarding seo on wordpress, I have never tried this, i'm just wondering if it is worth looking at and trying if it is any good. Install wp on the main url, wwwyoursitecom (home page) for page 2 install wp on a seperate directory ie wwwyoursitecom/page2, and so on to optimise each page differently, creating a tree structure all pointing to the home page. This might be common practice but being a noob i'm not sure, so thought I would ask.
I only install multiple wordpress on a domain when they are related - such as main site, then blog or autoblog w/ products. I don't know a whole lot about this BUT the risk you run here is that if you put all that work into this "tree" and 1 branch gets de-indexed, they ALL will. There is, of course, WPMU - which I have never taken the time to delve into yet. You may want to do some research on that.
Thanks for your reply, I think you might be right about being de-indexed, I will have to have a look at WPMU, thanks
