Wordpress query!

    Installed my first wordpress theme into - domainame.com/site

    How do I get the wordpress theme to appear when I go to domainame.com ?

    Excuse my stupidity!

    if you installed your WP to domain.com/site then there is your WP instal it to domain.com

    I had tried to install it to domain.com but the script installer wouldn't let me!

    1. Get yourself a copy of Filezilla FTP manager. In Filezilla go to yoursite.com/wordpress.

    2. You should see three folders and a bunch of files. Create a directory on your own machine and download the files and folders you can see from Filezilla.

    3. Next, from within Filezilla go to root (yoursite.com). Delete the folder "Wordpress".

    4. Now, upload the three folders and the bunch of files that you downloaded earlier into the root directory.

    Sorted.

    Or, uninstall Wordpress, then reinstall and when the installer asks for the path to the wordpress installation, just enter "/" without the quotes.

    I've got the .htaccess information for which you require - however, I can't post it here because apparently I'm typing in a URL which is not allowed. Grr. :(.

    *Update*

    I've found a post which shows how to change this information.
