Do you have a DB backup or better yet the .xml export of your site? If so, a rebuild is the best option. Not sure if this will work...ftp your site and remove the last plugin you installed and test if you can log in to dashboard.

A little more information would do well, or better yet, a link to your Wordpress site so that we can take a full look at what's going on?

HostGator's support team should be able to figure this one out for you, ask again saying that you've already attempted to re-install Wordpress to no avail.

    What have you done recently?

I got this problem once, i used ftp and removed the plugins then it worked again, and i readded the plugins to find out what it was that caused it.

Just copy the plugin to your computer before removing it and its no problem to readd

Appreciate your valuable response guys.. :)
I now understand what happened and how to tackle the issue...:)
so these are the things i should do...

1, Backup the site as often as possible or whenever i make some changes..
2, Corrective action should be the removal of the last installed plugin(s) believed to be causing the problem

Can you suggest a good plugin or backup solution for WordPress sites?

And also suggest a light weight content grabbing plugin other than wp o matic or wp robot ,....
