Wordpress posts by mail

Hi

I wanna create posts by mail, but i cant get the inbuilt function in wordpress to work, is there any good plugins for this?

Hello, if you want to use plugin to create post by email you can use Jetpack post by email feature.

Other ways to post by email is using Zapier. You have to create zap that connect “this software” with “that software,” so that when “this happens” (called a ‘trigger’), “that happens” (called an ‘action’). For example, you can connect your Gmail account to your WordPress site and make a “Zap” (i.e. a connection) so that creating a new email in Gmail creates a post in WordPress.

Just asking out of curiosity, why do you want to create posts by mail? What is that, that is requiring you to create posts by email? Actually I am using Wordpress for many years but I never came across this requirement. I knew this feature exists in Wordpress, but I never used it.

You can also upload a post by .csv files. There is a plugin for that too. It can facilitate to upload bulk uploads too.

In my country, there is a service for identification that more or less all people in the country use to verify that they are really who they say they are, both on internet and irl. The service has some downtime sometimes, some service time sometimes which you can get info about by email, so I thought I'd try to get these emails published on my tech site.

It remains to be seen how good the idea really is...
