The most valuable part about WP for me is the theme though.
Get a good customisable theme and you don't need as many plugins.

This is all plugins that I always use to customize my WP website.
 
All in one SEO, Statpress, Google Sitemap, Video Sitemap. That's must install plugin for each of my website :)
 
Wordpress has many. Not just one.

Your question is wrong. you should ask a specific requirement if you really need one. This sounds like you just wanted to thread and did not find any otehr topic and made this one.

Just make some point so that people can really get you some nice info.
 
Thanks for commenting! I do acknowledge that WP has many plugins not just one! It's nice to share what plugins we use in our everyday life. You don't always need to come to this forum to seek help, at least I don't.
 
Never needed all the options in Jetpack but I use that one anyway :D :D

Totally agree with you! I use Thesis with Marketers Delight and it has pretty much all I need :D
 
Jetpack, WP SEO and W3 Total Cache are absolutely essential imo.

Done good job...My favorite is "All-in-one-SEO pack". From this thread, I got a few plugins which i didn't seen before...So might give them a look in near future...
 
Akismet is the first one I installed on all, then there are so many useful ones depending on the project.
