Hi,

I've started using Wordpress recently and I was wondering what are some good plugins for SEO?

Thanks in advance.

Yoast SEO is the only one you need. It has the most features, and it works great. Don't listen to anyone who tells you to try a different plugin like AIO. They just haven't tried Yoast.

im using Yoast and it's so useful and it helps a lot !!

You can try these following wordpress plugins,
1. All in one seo plugin ( by default it will no-index tags, search results and sometimes categories, you can change it if you want).
2. Link Juice Keeper ( Prevents 404 err)

I use all-in-one seo pro plugin on all of my blogs. It does have a free version.

Haven't you tried the updated AIO?? it has most out of the functions of yoast.

As others mentioned, Yoast SEO is kinda great.

You don't need to install every plugin mentioned here, just fine one primary one like all in one.

Be careful that your theme doesn't have SEO functionality built in. I have seen themes that don't play well with All in one because they are doing essentially the same thing.

For the 404 redirect you don't need a plugin, just update the 404 page with a 301 redirect php code. Less plugins that need to be updated and managed and easier to control.

P3 plugin is good to see how fast or slow those plugins are working on your site.

I use WordPress SEO by Yoast, I personally suggest it using, try it.
