Do you mean to avoid the duplicate content such as the same post appearing in the archives as well as category? If so, and of the big SEO plugins will do that, like All In One SEO. They just add noindex and nofollow tags to the problem pages.
If you mean fniding content on your site that is duplicate of somewhere else on the web, or a duplicate of another post... can't help ya on that one

It's been about 5 years since I did any autoblogging, and I don't have my site content any more, but I did use a free plugin to do what you wanted, just can't remember what it was called. However I found this one which is paid;
Just do some google searching, there's bound to be a bunch. They all basically take common words and use javascript to print them in the browser. Not sure how effective they are any more
