am trying to install plugins on my new site hosted by byethost but i keep getting the following error message
"Unable to locate WordPress Content directory (wp-content)"

what could be the problem and what should be the full path for the wp-content directory?

I don't know but why not try to FTP the plugin directly to wp-content/plugins and see if that works?

check the wp content folder exist or not via file manager in cpanel

    if it doesn't
delete all files of previous install via file manager and install new one using autoinstaller in cpanal

Check file permission on that folder. They might be set to read-only.
