Wordpress plugin for advertising local business

I've generated some interest in my area with creating a website where local business would pay a small fee to have their ads posted. Because the fee per ad is low the only way this model has long term potential is if it is 90%+ automated.

There are several plugins out there, but I'm interested in hearing personal experience from anyone who has used one. I don't want to sound like I'm promoting any given plugin so I won't comment on my top choice so far. Ideally, I'd like something that allows advertisers to manage their own accounts and payments.

Anyone have personal experience with one of these plugins?

I don't really know of a plugin that does that, mostly just platforms.. or snippets, that you can make into plugins, or just 'require/include'

Thanks for the response. I've implemented the site and chosen to go with a manual solution. Since I am billing annually and currently only working ~10 clients this is manageable for now. I'll have to revisit this again if things grow.
