    Hello BHW

As i've wrote in my previous thread , i've built a simple wordpress site and thanks to this community i'm starting to see the first bucks to come.
This first money makes me very proud of myself and i want to put more effort in what i'm doing ! :)

Unfortunatly i'm still a newbie and every time i'm working on new ideas i'm always stopped by technical mistakes/errors because of my lack of knowledge.

-------- If you don't want to read my intro start reading here --------------------

I've got a problem with a wordpress plugin, WP Product Review. For those who don't knows this plugin integrate in your blog post a review box customizable.

In the settings of the plugin you can modify the position of your review box : " before the content " or " after the content " or " manually"

I want this review box to be putted NEXT TO my post (not before, not after, just beside my post) and i've got to do this manually.

    - This is what Plugin says about the manually way

In the end....How can do this manually ? Where i have to put this code ? I need to replace "postid " ? or something else ?

    Thanks !

You need to go to the theme editor, and manually plug that code in just under the post. I mean, everything will be in code out there, but it is pretty understandable. Make sure you dont mess it up though.

The file you should aim for will usually be single.php.

    Thanks for your reply Repulsor

Can i modify the code of the post itself through the html editor in the post editor ?

Or i must edit the code in the theme editor ?

Maybe can i put this code in the html editor of the post to makes this box appear beside my text article of the post ?

I doubt putting PHP code with wordpress hooks in the post would work. You should be doing that in the theme editor and it will come for all posts. You can specify not to show for some posts, but thats more coding then. I know its bit complex for you, you can either test it around or can get someone do it for you.

Ok got it..not through the post editor...

The real problem is that this box review is customizable for every products and there should be one review for one post. Every review must be different because they are based on different products! :vollkomme

    Thanks again for your reply!

Dont worry, the 'postid' in the code above is a variable. It changes to the id of the post that the user is viewing, automatically, and hence the respective reviews will be shown.

If you want it next to your post, isn't that your sidebar?

Does this plugin have a widget you can place in the sidebar?
If not, just paste your code on the top of the sidebar.php file (not exactly on top of the file, browser around, the code isn't that complicated)
