As a newbie, I want to create a website to earn money. What do you think WordPress.org or com would be a great choice. I want to a complete difference. Do you think WordPress.org charge more? I also want to know which one is more secure.

Not sure if you know this, but if you go to wordpress.com you can create blog and start producing the content. While on wordpress.org you can just download wordpress script and then you need your own domain and hosting to start a website.

WordPress.org is free, you just need a domain name and hosting. Lot more versatile. Lots of cheap hosting in the marketplace on here. Easy to set up even a 5 year old could do it. Thousands of free plugins available also

Do mean more technical skills are required to work at wp.org? As a beginner should I depend on wp.com?

Then sign up on wordpress.com, create good content and start building your site up to drive traffic. Add backlinks for organic reach, share your link on social media or do paid ads.

WordPress.com is a free way to use the benefits of WordPress. WordPress.org is WordPress’s self-hosting option. You have to host it yourself, you’re paying some sort of monthly fee to a company to host your website. I would reccomend downloading the platform from WordPress.org. You get all the features of the .com, in flexibile format.

It's designed for newbies, one click install. Very easy. I suggest you go on YouTube and watch a couple of beginners videos, lots on there

Many web hosting provider used to provide this feature. You are just some clicks away for developing the WordPress site. You will get proper resources, bandwidth, inode for your website. You can have the multiple services under the same control panel.

Once you will install the WordPress, you can enable various security extensions for securing your website.
