I would go for wordpress no matter what and suggest you to use it too. The support for wordpress websites is available everywhere if that is any of your concern.

My recommendation is WordPress. It's more flexible and personalized than other CMS.

Agreed with majority of people here to go Wordpress. You don't want a third party having control of your site and deciding to pull the plug for whatever reason they decide!

Everyones Suggestion will be Wordpress than Wix. Because of the customization.
