Was curious how things are going for people with websites built with wordpress and plain static html sites. Which ones are having the most success with all the panda updates, which one ranks better in google as of now?

That really doesn't matter. There doesn't seem to be a correlation, I can't see any on my own sites and I haven't read any solid stats that proof the contrary.

My main white hat authority site built using wordpress has not been affected at all.

Sincerely I think it doesn't matter like MandLoyd said.
Panda penalizes websites with shitty content, no more (...).

One of my WordPress website has been literally killed by first Panda update.
So, WP or static, the skeleton is not the problem.

Your site should be of high quality in terms of content but also on and off page SEO.. Wordpress or HTML does not matter

You got it all wrong dude. It's not how you build a website (or what technology you use), it's how useful it is for your users, how good the content is and how well optimized everything is.
