Wordpress or Shopify?

Hey there, I am starting my first dropshipping journey. I have few questions if anyone could help, please.

1) I am good with Wordpress and my idea is to have a blog + product so I think wordpress is really good for this and it's cheaper as well. I am confused about "Buy" button.

Questions:
Anyone here use woocommerce for checkout system?
Is there any alternative to Shopify Lite plan?
Anyone here use Shopify Lite plan?
How's been your experience so far?

2) How did you like the idea? I am basically targetting a niche so I'd like to have blog (for amazon review) + dropshipping on the side. Is it possible?

New so your guidance will be appreciated.

Since you are already comfortable with WordPress, I will recommend you to go for WooCommerce. it gives you unprecedented customization capabilities — at little or no cost.

However, you’re responsible for your site’s security and performance (a problem that can easily be solved with good web hosting, light-weight theme, and security plugin).
 
Once you have quite a few stores, woo becomes a good platform to keep your costs down, and there is much easier customizability, purely because there are more developers working with woo.
 
Shopify's back-end is way more sleek and streamlined. But yeah, $30/mo vs $30/yr.

You say you're good with WordPress, so customizing the not so great out-of-the-box Woocommerce might actually be a cool experience.

I don't know if it'll beat the "smoothness" of Shopify though.

i think combining amazon affiliate and dropshipping might be detrimental to your brand. however, if it's a blog about your niche with hyperlinks to products (like recommending different products for different needs), that's a good way to rank and helps with the conversion.
 
It was created for WordPress blog. It may be more convenient for him to use on blog sites.
