As the title says, what should I go for? Wordpress or I should create my own HTML/CSS website?
Wordpress any day.
It is so so much easy to set up everything and the plugins are so awesome. On site SEO is also easy on wordpress IMO.
Go with wordpress.
Wordpress for sure. It comes with a lot of plugins that are very useful for SEO. Like "All In One Seo". It also provides better security options that you do not have to code yourself.
as what above posters say, I would go with wordpress. Wordpress saves you a lot of time.
It depends on your needs.. however, as the others have said, you can do more with wordpress with lesser programming effort..
Unless you're a good coder go with Wordpress, and hell even if you're not still go with that. You can find a plugin for just about anything and so much people are using it so you can find a tutorial or an answer for 99% of the questions & problems you might experience.
Not to mention you can have it running on a newly bought domain in 10-15min.
if you not planning to change the design and update on the site html would be better ...
if you plan to keep changing the design and updates then wordpress would be better
wordpress is easily hackable
html can't be hacked
If you need a small static website with custom design, then a plain html site should be a better option imo.
Wordpress is nice, but if you don't need to post new posts, then converting your design to wordpress is an unrequired overhead; especially when you have a way with code.
as Toaster said, exactly, mini site doesn't need Wordpress, it's overkill and if you plan more than 30 such small sites, I can't see a reason to wordpress it.
Your own site unless you are going to need many main page redesigns over a short amount of time, then WP as new themes are easy to use to change the look quickly.
Wordpress, would be my choice!
I just need a static page... Therefore, I will go with HTML/CSS! Thank you all.
i think the right question is wordpress or blogger
I Recommend wordpress
go for wordpress, it features functionality and professionalism.
