Hello BHW,

This forum motivated me to start working in affiliate marketing area. As a newbie I have the problem to decide the way I make my website(s). So which one do you guys suggest(and why) using Wordpress or coding.

Wordpress AND coding :)
Use wordpress, no need to reinvent the wheel, but learn to heavily customize it.

Stick to wordpress, there are enough free plugins to achieve what would take you months to learn to code.

Wordpress unless you want to learn the coding aspect.

With coding you will have a website plus serious skills that you can benefit from in terms of making money

well, i coded my last web site in php language and it was really pain for me.
the coding wasn't problem. the problem was thinking about security issues, database, design, to create an admin panel from zero. i spent to much time but my plan wasn't possible with wordpress.
So if the wordpress is enough for you then don't think too much and install it but if u need specific things then the best way is to find a good script or code it

What does your mind tell you to do? You know deep in your heart you wish you knew how to code, but you just can't settle down to learn it. It's such a uphill task you think...And yet you secretly envy them geeks. Lol

hello! I recommend Wordpress, facilitates the design and implementation of the web. Because it is just making a template on the server and configures to your liking and you can manage content more easily. With coding, you can do something more personalized but more time is delayed.

In Worpress just need to find a template to your liking.

Thanks for the replies.
What about functionality , back-end ? Does wordpress have any 'limits' or a better question is what problems i might face using Wordpress

IMHO WordPress is the best fit for you, back-end is very user friendly, anyone or I might say even a non-tech person can learn it very fast. No limits what so ever unless you are trying to publish another amazon or ebay. There are plenty of plugins available both free and paid to solve almost any kind of problem. Bottom line WordPress is a YES.

stick to basics, wordpress more than enough..! If you want to customize learn how to use WordPress hooks work and CSS.
