Then as far as I know you can't change the themes apart from the ones you get, if want different themes and plug ins etc, you need to have your own domain with word press on it.
    It is so much easier.

Quick and easy. Try this site: http://www.blogger-template.info/

Find a template and download it to your hard drive. Go to your blog in admin mode. Choose Themes, then Add New Theme, then Upload. Select the Browse button and find the zipped theme file you downloaded. Click Activate Theme and you're off and running.]

    Peace

You need your own hosting. then you upload the folder you downloaded with the theme to the themes folder and go to appearance / change theme

There's also a great plugin that allows you to install themes and plugins via their weblink, so you don't even need to download them. I think it's 'oneclick install' ?

rprabu, you open a free account at wordpress.com right? You can't add template or plugin there. I suggest you move to hosting server like hostgator.

Yea hostgator is sick for blogs. They have amazing support too. Use the 1cent wordpress
code to get it for 30 days free. here is the coupon. (wordpress) just use that when you get to check out.
