Wordpress mobile Speed problem - 28/100 on pagespeed insights.

How to improve the speed on mobiles for wordpress site? Any plugin or code settings?
I got 28 out of 100 for mobile speed productivity. And my Largest contentful paint time is between 8-12 seconds. I think these are horrible stats, are these? I am using DIVI theme with Elementor PRO builder btw. What could be the issue?

Some people say to install Perfmatters plugin , but there are too many settings there which I don't know to trun on or off.

Without looking at the site, but knowing it's wordpress:
use a caching plugin like wprocket or something similar.

And things like Elementor are bad for speed– at least from my experience. Thank good i didn't have to touch any serious wordpress project for 5 or 6 years. But it's just an issue when you have so many plugins.
Almsot every plugin has it's own styles and scripts to load in the frontend. try to reduce the amount of calls to the server with a caching plugin that can merge scripts together. And minify the scripts and stylesheets where possible. and a big issue with many wordpress sites from people who don't think about it that much: image size. there are many plugins that can help you squeeze the size down.

if possible, use cloudflare & utilize their caching.


And most effective, but not always worth the hassle: if you really need wordpress, but don't have member areas or other dynamic pages: static site generation.

Do you use cloudflare apo? I have observed that cloudflare apo provides acceleration both on mobile and desktop, my suggestion would be to use it.
