Wordpress Meta Description Keeps Changing?

Hi,


I have changed my sites meta description according to what my site is about, however when i do a search in Google for some keywords i am trying to rank for it seems Google is using the description of the first post on my site as the meta description instead of the one i created? This only happens occasionally but it never use to happen before and i am wondering weather there is a bug somewhere on my site?

Big G sometimes pulls the metadescription it wants despite your efforts to set it on WP. It will choose what is the most relevant description for the query. Its annoying that it pulls some random sentence from the post but you cant really change it. You could try seeing if the metatag has enough keywords to match the other searches.

Not sure what plugin you are using so can't comment on that, but check all the settings thoroughly or try a different one if you suspect it's a site issue.

You can wait for Google Indexing as its showing the previous screenshot. Once Indexed again after you changed your Meta description then it will began to show it.

try to use seo yoast plugin for meta descriptions, and wait for Big G to index/update your site. be patient on it. it will be changed in couple of days
