Good evening,

I tried to install various wordpress themes but every single one gets messed up, it overlaps some other theme.
Why does this happen ? I'm going crazy trying to fix the issue.

Does it happened to you ? How did you fix it ?

After unsuccessfully running behind many WP devs, I thought of giving the thing a try myself. Have found some luck but I still need to learn a gazillion things to even call myself an amateur in the field.

I'd recommend watching youtube tutorials, and read similar articles. Esp the ones created by theme devs.

Watching this thread.

Have you tried to install the theme on a fresh WordPress, or on a old one? Also, if you install a new theme ( and there is existing demo already imported ), don't import the new demo data. Pm me if you want to take a look there.

Cheers!

I think every theme i install overlaps twenty twenty theme, idk if that sounds about right or am i just a complete dumb fuck...
Also, some pages that are promised by the themes like "blog",etc are not showing up, i'll try to full reset my wordpress installation and see if something changes.

It could be an issue on the hosting end. Perhaps something with the permissions settings.

this happened to me as well once. I reset the wordpress site with the plugin and tried it again and it worked. might be worth a try. :)

Sounds like you need to do a fresh install of the WordPress core and then fresh install of the theme.

You'll also want to check if the theme has its own set of theme options. You may need to set your home page and blog page again and/or define that in the theme settings.

maybe you need to watch a yt video guide .

theme and plugin not the same but clash sometimes .

learn the basics first .

divi can do everthink , and has templates .

Divi can, but even for a complete beginner, finding one's way around even Divi is tough. I'm at the exact same situation.

Switch to a calendar WP theme like WP 2020. If the problem persists then it's a problem with the theme itself; otherwise it's a plugin and this has been my experience.

Something messed up with your setup.

Themes usually have their own path and they do not interfere with each other.

Are you using caching plugin?

Thank you all for the answers.
The plugin actually did not help, and the weird thing is that today everything just fell into place.
I didn't do absolutely anything, it kinda just fixed itself (yeah wtf)
I know some people were following with the same problem, but nope, i do not have a solution for you.
