WordPress Media Library

I have a site that is heavy on images. I should have planned ahead, but I didn't even though I knew this would happen. Now, I have 300 articles on the site and the media library is a clusterfuck of images. I have anxiety whenever I open it. Is an automated way to arrange the media library?

I'm looking for a way to have the images in folders based on each post, but at the same time the link/path on the post (to the images) should get auto-updated to include the new path with the folder in it. Or if there is any other way that I can organize the images so I can locate them by article/post?

I'd say best bet is to categorise them on your device as Media section doesn't seem to have categories... Can't really tell a script what is in the picture... Unless you set it to categories in blog graphics, article graphics, website graphics, etc...

Then I believe you can use Python to check where they are by their URL's here:

Thanks man, this actually helped. I don't know why I never changed the view lol, it segments by article. I had no idea you could do that. I was just having heart attacks looking at 2000 pictures in there trying to figure out wtf I should do LMAO!
