Depends on what your trying to achieve - your comparing apples to oranges...
Personally i prefer to use joomla - i know it inside and out and its what i consider to be one of the most powerful tools in MY internet marketing tool set
All the platforms have their own place, but everyone to their own - whatever gets the job done and the results
Most people here will say Wordpress - but it would really help Joomla's case if people got access to some really good Joomla Training Resources!

They are all different to be honest.Wordpress is better for basic seo but all this thing about google love is a myth from noobs. Get joomla change htaccess or get a plugin and you are set. It takes the same time to set permalinks for wp compared to the time it takes to set SEF urls in Joomla.
Drupal is powerful too but a bit more difficult. Wordpress is ok but Joomla has tons of ways to be expanded. Depends on what you are looking for..
In my opinion:
Blog,autoblogs=WP
Joomla=Commercial or BIG website,estore, membership,social community etc
Drupal is same as Joomla with some advantages and some disadvantages.
All platforms have abilities to be expanded so you can see a Joomla Blog a WP estore or a Drupal Blog.

at the Open Camp for WP, Drupal, and Joomla there someone presented a great representative diagram
had wordpress in a circle on the left for simplicty
drupal in a circle the right for the more technical advanced
and joomla in a circle in the middle linking the two other circles together - its kinda right in between the two....

Post farming is bad and posts like "WP is GOD", "Google has feeling for WP" are stupid.
Anyway WP is not the best! WP might be the easiest. Build an ecommerce website with WP and then with Joomla or Drupal and see the difference.
Economist, Nasa are some examples of websites that use Drupal.
WP might be the most noob friendly and thus and the most famous at this moment. The other CMS will not disappear though since you will a very very hard time building a good corporation website using WP.
Apart from that, WP is far from being the most expandable. It depends on preferences etc but i would not blog with joomla or i would not build a lawyer's website with WP.

@dered - i am sure WP is the best solution for you but not necessarily the next person, please expand your reasoning...
@sunseven - sorry to say you are very mistaken if you think Wordpress is THE most flexible platform of the three.
@Hijinx - all three platforms have had and will continue to have vulnerabilities
Script kiddies will take advantage of security holes of poorly written third party plugins not generally the main core code.... hence dont use badly written plugins and always keep your scripts up to date...
There are plenty of posts on this forum about what people consider to be the best blog, cms, solution for them and i am not sure if this warrants another thread about the same subject...
At OP if you want information about Joomla from someone who uses it daily for iterrnet marketing, who teaches it, who develops addons for it, designs templates for it, and has spoken alongside the founder about Joomla and SEO, and who has built a financially successful business model around it then drop me a PM.

can you elaborate on what Joomla problems you been having exactly? its one thing having genuine problems and its another simply not having decent resources to be able to understand wtf is going on...

if you are noob not willing to spare time on learning then go with wordpress it is easy to learn. However if you can give a little bit effort in the learning curve I rekon joomla. It is the best CMS ever.Possibilities with joomla are endless.
Many people here will say wordpress because there are hardly any stuff regarding joomla but if you explore around you will be surprised how good the joomla is. This is my honest openion.

One thing is for sure Joomla and Drupal will take longer to master than WP.
I love Joomla and some of the templates available are amazing.
