Wordpress installation troubles

Thanks RightFootFanatic for the information. I will start working on xampp and the other suggestions/answers you provided. I had no idea about skype blocking 1 of the port. I am going to go back to the how to xampp info I found and see if I can install correctly for wp.
don't try and use easywplocalhost if you have Skype open, they share the same port. i have to shut Skype when using wpsimulator.

I use Instant WP, and it works great for me, once the website is finished, I transfer it to my host. good luck
When your website is done, what and where is your host exactly? Do you have to create a database within a internet browser?

no you use duplicator plugin, duplicate your site you made locally and then upload via cpanel or ftp to your site's host, then run the installer.php and your site gets installed, it's quick and easy.

Instant WP requires 32 bit I have 64 bit. Part of instantWP is Apache 2.2.15 (Win32) included in software

On easywplocalhost on the chrome browser when I try to create a new wp site nothing happens.. the wheel just spins and doesnt stop. Then when I close out of the browser and open it again the site name and the site url is there what i typed in but then when I try to go to the site it says:
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Error 404
127.0.0.1
Apache/2.4.17 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.2d PHP/5.6.15

Using softaculous you can have ur site up and ready in 5 minutes, so simply.
Do you have a different reason for your approach?

I'm trying to figure out whichever ways would be suitable to me. I bought the easywp localhost so I kinda wanted to try to get the easywp way trying to figure it out still.

as @blogzandstuff said , it's very easy and fast to use, to install your website, and I also use it when I want to make a big update to my website, so I can test if it works well or not , and my website can stay online. It's really a great tool

Do you use InstantWP 4.5? or 4.4.2? You think I should uninstall wordpress and then install again with the instantwp download or what? I don't want there to be another fork in the road.

I use 4.5 now, but I used the older versions before.
I don't think you have to uninstall anything as instant wp is a standalone app, you can even instal it on a usb stick, you don't need to install it in your system

Involving bought themes and transfer onto instant wordpress: Is Instant wordpress same as WP org? Is there a different method with instant wordpress involving transferring themefores themes or other customized themes, etc. rather than regular wordpress? Is there something different with the hosting things?

You add them like any other theme, it's just replicating the net but only on your machine. Just use it like you would on a live site.

If your on Instant WP then to Appearance and onto Add themes I browsed and went to a winrar file and it said it failed. Do I have to extract the newsmag zip onto somewhere and then put the extracted somewhere on comp and then add theme from that file? You are loads of help pointing me in the write direction blogzandstuff
