Wordpress insite linking

    Hey all,

    So i have been linking some of my pages together on my website but each time i do i get a notification in the wordpress comment section saying that i have to accept a pingback from that page? Do i have to accept this or? I am not too sure what this means,

    No you don't need to accept it, all it will do is to add a comment to the post in question.
    The reason you get this message is because of your settings. Go to Settings->Discussion->Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article
    to change this.

    ah okay thanks a lot thats really interesting actaully i didnt realise you could do this, you no any plugins that can stop these spam comments i get everyday its hard to look through and find the genuine ones lol.

    For spam comments I just use Alkismet, it gets most of it at my blogs

    Akismet is always there in WP, try that.
