First of all, excuse me if this is the wrong section, I wasn't sure where to put this.

    Here's the deal.

I have a "Make Money Online" type of site, and I also have a little free cashnhits blog - http://www.cashnhits.com/blog/hitenp1/ - which I don't really care much about.

I have a bunch of payment proofs from various PTC, PTP, etc sites.

On my money site I am reviewing the sites I earn on and I put an image (cloaked with adfliy) on every review post I do, and I make sure that the image is a bit small/unclear so that the people will want to click it to enlarge it. This has been working okay, I got clicks on those images. After all, I am not facebook, so click-baiting is acceptable :p (Fak Yu Fb)

Now, I also have those same payment proofs on my cashnhits blog, and those get clicked from time to time too.

So those clicks are monetized with adfly, great...

Now, I want to monetize them further, and also, if possible, secure my pictures.

The problem is that all my photos are on Photobucket now. And you know how that goes, they are a Free service, so I can lose my account at any given time, or get my images removed, or anything can happen. So I'm thinking.....

    1. Move all the images to a Paid hosting site. You know, one of those sites that pay you CPM per every 1000 views. Of course, I wouldn't use one of those that run Porn ads, because I don't want to affiliate my money site with a site that has any porn-type content on it.

Now, that would resolve the further monetization, but it wouldn't resolve the safety, considering it's still a free site. Plus, the site can turn out to be a scam at the end of the day, or eventually become a scam and stop paying me, and so turn out to be a colossal waste of time.

    2. My money site is a self-hosted wordpress.org site with a .com domain. So then I could host all of those pictures on My Own site somehow, and then maybe register for a CPM network, or whatever, popups, and implement them on that page. So then my pictures would be safely hosted on my own site, plus provide extra profit (direct profit, no rev share shit), and I could control my images/gallery as I want to. Plus, the cashnhits blog would then be linking to my own site, which will provide a little more traffic and backlinks (however useless) back to my site.

So, the second option makes a helluva lot more sense.

However, there are issues. When I first created my money site I had all my "Attachment (fucking) pages" get Indexed, resulting in duplicated content, and essentially creating clutter and crap in my search engine results. I spent hours figuring out what to do, and I was AMAZED that this wasn't a Major issue that wordpress doesn't handle natively somehow. Eventually I did something with the yoast plugin which basically made those attachment pages redirect - using 404 I think - all those images back to my original article where that image was posted on. What that means is that since it's a 404 the search engines will pick up on that and eventually de-index the attachment pages. That would then solve the search engines indexation of my site, any duplication or other issues that may arise from that, and if any visitor lands on one of those pages they will be automatically redirected to the article. That happened, google eventually de-indexed the attachment pages.

Now, what that means though is that I can't put the smaller payment proof in my post and then link it (through adfly) to open upon click and go to the attachment page for that image, because that would basically just automatically redirect them back to the article. I hope I'm clear.

So what I do now is, I upload the payment proof on my site directly, and then I put the href in the html for the image to open in a new tab when clicked, I cover its photobucket link with adfly, and I post it like that.

Okay, I wrote enough. I hope you guys have the nerve to read through this and give me some solid advice.

    Thanks a lot.

    You know, I've been thinking.

If I remember correctly, at first I had implemented that 404 redirect from the attachment pages to the post associated with the picture in the page in order to not lose any traffic in the meantime while they get de-indexed.

However, now those attachment pages have been de-indexed, and so maybe I could remove the 404 redirect for them and add a no-index tag on all of them. Also, the links leading to them will all be no-follow, so no spiders should land on them. And then use them for what I'm saying, and also put some popup ads on them, like adfly's popup ads, and let them be.

Alternatively, I can simply create new Posts, make them into my "galleries," one post per site. For example, neobux payments post, put the payments i got on there - 3 or 4 payments - mark it as noindex, and use that for showing my payment proofs instead of the attachment pages.

I'm still hoping I get some advice from you guys. But just in case I don't, I'm throwing ideas out there for myself :p
