WordPress: Hype for Google XML Sitemap for Videos Plugin just hype?

Google XML Sitemap Plugin for Wordpress is a great plugin, but does the Video edition live up to the hype? I know the purpose of the plugin is to better index your site videos from YouTube, but more specifically will it put those videos in Googles Blended Search linking to YouTube, or just rank the page higher you have the video on?

Its just a way for amit agrawal to get facebook likes and backlinks

So basically, the original XML Sitemaps plugin does what this claims to do already?

No, you need a specific video sitemap, that you submit to google webmaster tools. There are free options though, that will do this:

Don't buy Mark Dulisse's product, what a scammer, he even charges an annual fee for his plugin.
