Wordpress & Hostgator

Hello Blackhatters. Can anyone give a few pointers on how to apply add on domains to hostgator? I started installing wordpress for each blog/add on domain (each with its unique domain name) but some of the domains were "cross linking" so to speak or pointing to the wrong website. I joined Hostgator because I thought it would be easy to add multiple blogs. Any help would be very much appreciated, as always.

when you login 1st time there is a window come, thru that you will able to see video tutotials for all things.. you may with that links to video tutorial in help section

and you need to do first thing is that. you have to put name servers in that domain first you want to addoon it on hg..

It's simple enough in Hostgator to add domains.

1) With domain registrar change DNS to point to your Hostgator server (values are shown in the left hand panel of Cpanel.
2) Select the Addon domains icon under Domains (has to be Addon domain) fill in all required fields
3) Then install WP using Fantastico and make sure you select the root domain of the site you've just added

That's it I'm not sure how you've got "Cross Linked" sounds like a DNS problem. Speak to support about it I've found them to be very helpful

Ok, many thanks guys. I think the root domain is where I am getting mixed up, as I always thought that I had to add to public folder - I know pretty ignorant of me, but I am slowly learning........ Thanks again.
