WordPress Home Page Choice

Hi guys,

I never had a blog as a WP home page but...

Just curious if anything will change if the blog will be selected as a home page instead of a static page for a new site

Does it affect anything SEO-wise?

Not much info on this,an interested to know if there are current thoughts on this.

The blog kinda meant to be WP home page and it would eliminate some hassle with home page setup lol

If it fits the overall concept,of course

I think it will be harder to rank (but not impossible), because you'll structure your site poorly, but I'm not sure...

I see no reason why would that be bad. As long as your blog is properly structured and its not just random blogposts everywhere. I have seen plenty of such websites, i see no difference between that and the homepage that would probably contain and feature some blogposts anyway.
