how can i get rid of this highlight
In the body of that webpage, there will be something like:
<span style="background-color: orange;">asaas</span>
Note: asaas == the actual words there, and orange == whatever background-color code there actually is... asaas and orange in the above code are just place-holders.
The entire code line may also be sightly different if there are additional parameters...
So, set the background-color code to none, -- or if you know how, then modify the line to remove the highlight code only.
Before everything, make a backup of the file that you will be changing/editing.
If you don't find it in the html file, then check the CSS file (style.css or check other css files if it's not there in style.css).
The above is easier done if you're using the cpanel.
You can easily use Firefox's Firebug addon to find the code and it's location...
Another way is to log in your Wordpress site (yourwpsite.ext/wp-admin), then open the post or page, and select the text tab on the top of the editor. In the editor window find and remove the related highlight code. The code will be similar to the above code, especially the 2nd one: <span style....
thanks alot i found it
