Wordpress Help? Thanks

I have a website that I made using wordpress. It's on my localhost right now and everything is working. I have hostgator and I think I managed to upload the database but am having some problems with uploading the website itself. I uploaded all of the files in the /wordpress directory but for some reason when I go to my domain nothing happens..

I think it might not be setting the main page properly. Does any1 know what file name refers to the website's main page? (is it index.php?) And does anyone know what the main page is called in the wordpress directory? All I do to access my page is go to http://localhost/wordpress/ and it goes to my main page, I have no idea what file it accesses first.

upload the files to your root folder not the wordpress subfolder

If you don't have posts in your blog yet, you may want to just delete the whole thing and recreate the blog via Fantastico script installer.

I may have to start all over like u suggest busastyle because for some reason I am getting a fatal error in themes// "Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header()". I have no idea where this error is coming from, how is it undefined? Isn't it part of the standard library?

Then just go to yoursite.com/wp-admin to add content / manage the site
