Hello. I am re-making my whole site. Previously I had a ton of random blog posts but now I want to turn the site into something else. I want to know if there is a way to keep some of my blog posts published but hide them. Reason is because of SEO. I'm pretty sure having each blog post linking back to my main page is increasing my ranking.

If it's not, then let me know.

Make a static Page and set that page as home page In settings>reading .Your posts will be live on previous home page delete that page from menu bar if its appearing there. Or You can put your all posts to draft Just go to all posts select 100 posts to show from screen option Select all and from drop menu select move to draft and apply ..hope this will help..

I'm not sure what you mean, but if I understand right, you can set the post's visibility to private (instead of public). As far as I know this way it won't show up, but still be there. Some1 correct me if I'm wrong ;)

thanks. :)

I was looking for something like Gintoki mentioned. What happens when it's private? Am I right in saying there is a privilege setting that enables some users to see private posts?

Cant you just change the public option to private (or members only if membership is off)
