Wordpress Guru Needed. Install not working

Hello,

I need help updating my Wordpress site and i have been having a 'mare' for about 2 days going through lots of pages with fixes that dont work for me.

Will pay someone 10$ through paypal if they can sort it. Thanks.

The initial error i get is:
Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.6-new-bundled.zip?
Download failed.: Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable.
Installation Failed

Try Tweaky . com. I used it for my wordpress tweaks and help. If you're not able to figure it out on your own or from the forum, I'd use them. Or even someone from odesk.

Change the permissions to 755/777 to make the destination folder writable. That'll fix this error.

Please don't modify permissions, that will cause you security issues. If you have SSH access, I'll fix it for free.

Why you dont update it manually, here is a full guide on WP website http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress . You probably need to change permissions to 777 in order to use automatic update.
