Wordpress Google XML Sitemap Problem

Recently for the past 4 days my Google XML Sitemap for Wordpress is not being created because it says:

The last run didn't finish! Maybe you can raise the memory or time limit for PHP scripts.

And when I click on "debug function", it says:

Code:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12 bytes) in /home/jilbq/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 552

Anyone know how to fix this?

No one has any idea on how to fix this?

I'm surprised no one has had this problem before.

It's because your site is huge and allowed memory for php running script is not enough in your server. If you're using cheap hosting, you can't fix this, otherwise you can fix the limit memory in php.ini

Looks like the memory limit is set to 32MB. I've experienced this when using w3 total cache. Edit wp-config and add these:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

This will increase the memory limit for WP to 64MB. Hope this helps.

I've got this before.

Just go to the settings of Google Sitemap XML. Then find the place where it says...

"Try to increase the memory limit to:"

It should be under the Advanced Options in bold.

Then set it to 64M, or maybe 128M.

That worked for me anyway.
