I wanted to make a basic membership for some parts of my blog using the categories. I wanted to know if there is any type of guide or some is willing to explain me better how to proceed.

Check the s2member plugin and their how-to videos. Free and easy for lots of options.
There are other free and paid. This is the best free one that I have tried.

Another vote for s2member. If I can use it anyone can. Does the job and it's a bonus that it's free.

If you will go on WordPress site, there are various plugins which you can use for achieving your output. You will get the tutorials for the same on the WordPress site. Just you need to make sure that the current configuration of your website will work properly after enabling the plugin. Because some plugins needs extra resources for working.
