What do you guys use on your blogs? Do you integrate Facebook comments or do you use the regular Facebook comments on WordPress.

I use regular WP comments...
These are faster than Facebook comments and you can build email list too..

I use regular comments But I think using FB might be more effective for sometimes since more people tend to leave comments that way. After all they don't have to fill info or anything.

I think the best way is to use both. Usually, I added FB comments before regular

Not everyone wants to share their comments openly on fb. Some prefer to stay anonymous, that's why I choose a comment plugin or WP comments usually.

Also, facebook got alot less popular in the last years (at least in Germany, I am not sure about the rest of the worlds)

i use both on some sites, but i find people more willing to leave WP comments rather than facebook. Some sites i have removed facebook completely and just left WP comments

I'll have to go with Disqus here as well. It looks and works a lot better than any other commenting system. On a side note, I find it really unnecessary to implement Facebook comments to any website, it runs terribly, and why involve Facebook anyway.

Disqus has one problem. Many theme has different improvements in comment systems (ratings, sorting, +/-, admin highlight, badges). You will lose all of them if you will use disqus

people like to comment on the "go", facebook comments are a good option because most of the time they are already signed and they just want to get in the game fast and easy.

I used them both and I came to the conclusion that regular comments are better than fb, but also it depends on the niche and what you want it for. In terms of added value/context I would go with regular, due to the obvious and the fact the fb comments are not indexed, as far as I know. If you wish to add branding value to a website than I would go with fb, because if feels more authentic like. Just my humble opinion.

It really depends on the type of crowd you're targeting. Disqus is pretty decent. You could choose to opt just for Facebook comments taking into account how people are almost always connected to Facebook on their PC/laptop or through mobiles, plus it'll work better if you're planning on promoting on social media. However, not everyone wants to share their FB profile for a simple comment, so take that into account.
With WordPress comments, you can build an email list for future use.
It would also depend hugely on the niche you're targeting. If your blog is more value/content centric, go for regular comments. If you plan to use the blog as a way to add credibility or just plain market it to the world, Facebook.

Hope it helps. Cheers and all the best.
