WordPress & Elementor Question....

Is there a way to edit my post on Elementor? I´ve found that when i paste the article inside WordPress editor and then move to Elementor i can´t add any graphic element to the body.

Once you paste the content and move on to Elementor it creates one long column for it and you can just "break" the column to add whatever you need.

Graphic elements such as quotes, bullet points and such.

I know pictures and infographics can be added as images from the editor but not the ones i mention above.

I also know, you can add those right off the editor but i prefer using the designs Elementor has to offer.

What is the best way to do this?

I'm not sure if I understand your problem the right way, but when I wanted to create unique blog postings with every opportunity that Elementor offers, I've "built a new site". Not via the actual blog itself but with a new page through elementor (created a blank template for blog postings and used it for every new post).

I know how to create a blog post layout template but it´s not what i am asking.

Do you write your content inside the WP editor (Either Gutenberg or the Classic, it doesn´t matter) and then head over Elementor?

I just found a way but it´s a bit tedious.

Build all the graphic elements i need separately as a template inside Elementor and then add a CSS code inside the WP editor and that´s it.

Guess this will be how i will do things.

I don´t know how to make it clearer.

You know how when you write an article on your WP Editor and head over Elementor the entire body copy is one big column?

Is there a way to change this?

like to add any graphic element i want to the article body? like quotes, bullet points, etc?

Hey Got your point.... but there is no other ways to add any graphic element or anything to current post by using elementor, because the post was created by wordpress editor. if you wanted to add new element to the current page you can add new coloumn with elementor but you can't customize current element using elemetor. try using different editor which is compatible with wordpress editior like vc, WP bakery.

You can add bullet points and lists, quotes, graphics within the WPEditor and do any style changes in the native elementor editor when creating the templates. I do this for some more customized blogs, combined with dynamic content and embed any other elements I need within the post.

If it's really, really custom you can create specific blog templates based on a variety of conditions (catergory etc).

Maybe this still doesn't answer your question lol but I'm still unclear for whatever reason. Adding quotes and bullets and other graphics haven't been a problem from what I've done
 
im not sure if i got you but to keep things simple when you want to make a post just do it directly using elementor

The current version of Elementor does not allow you to make post directly from the editor. So you do have to do a little back and forth between the native WP Editor and Elementor templates

I found a way by just building a template for whatever i need and just add the shortcode into the WPEditor. I mean, it´s not exactly what i have in mind but thus far is the best option.

The only downside to this is that it messes up with Yoast readability score but in order to work this i edit my writing inside the Hemingway Editor and then just copy&paste inside WPEditor.

I even started building a single blog post layout template and even the images that were aligned to the center are not anymore when using this template.

Going to try and see if i can just build this single blog post layout template for just the feature image, blog post title, date, author and the stuff that goes at the bottom like the author´s bio, an opt-in form, related blog post, comment section, etc.

And just leave the content as it is from the WPEditor.

I don´t know if this will work, let´s see.

@Roger Marquez make the post directly on Elementor--- add text element and multiple/inner column element to revise how everything is structured

Yeah, i was trying to avoid having to do this but now feels like the best choice, thanks guys for your insights!

Can i ask does Elementor slow down the loading time?
And is there a good amazon affiliate template for Elementor? I want to use Elementor for my sites but just found the whole design thing tedious.

Many Amazon affiliate websites are built using Elementor, and many sites using Elementor have A+ page speed ranks. Your page speed is going to be determined by the content you have on the page, the plugins and theme being loaded, etc.

Pick a fast theme (like Astra) + Elementor, and avoid adding too many unnecessary elements and transitions, and you'll have a fast-loading website
