Wordpress date problem (showing up 11-07-2010-05-2008)

Does anyone know how to straigten out the wordpress dates? Mine are showing up:

Really strange, can't figure out how to remove the 5-2008. I set the date to be displayed as 7/11/2010 and it's also not doing it that way.

---> select last option "custom" and switch it to /%day%/%monthnum%/%year%/
