Wordpress custom member panel / dashboard / area

Hello folks,

do you know of any way (or plugin) to make a custom member panel / dashboard / area instead of the traditional wordpress look?

I want to be able to customize what my website members see when they login. I actually only want to offer them minimal and necessary options, like change their password.

You don't even need a plugin for this, give your members the right user role ("subscriber" in this case) and they will only be able to update their profile (display name / email / password) from wp-admin.

Sure I know about it, but I want to change the way the user panel looks. I don't want this boring look, and I may as well provide other options like links to the last 5 posts on the blog...

Alright guys, I've found a pretty nice way to do what I'm looking to do.

Here's a plugin to use an alternative to the user dashboard: http://wordpress.org/plugins/user-dashboard/

You install this plugin, create a new page (call it User Profile for example) and paste in it the shortcode [user-dashboard]

Then you'll be able to use that page as your new custom user dashboard / panel / area

I advise you to use that plugin in conjunction with a plugin called Remove Dashboard Access that allows you to redirect users to that new custom profile page after they log in, while keeping everything working as normal for Admins: http://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-dashboard-access-for-non-admins/

So that's it! That's the result of my research and tests for the past few hours. You'd rather thank me or else I won't be bringing new good things to you anymore

I believe it was called member wishlist. Do a search and it should come up

Your plugin has nothing to do with what I was looking for. Wishlist plugin is about membership management.
I was simply looking for a way to customize the user's dashboard, and I found it. Look at my previous comment.

Oh and ur plugin is not free... Thanx anyway

Although the plugin may not be free (typically), I shared a nulled version of it.
