I am going to write a coupon code import script but I wanted to know if anyone knew of one first. Basically, with what I have now, I have to convert the coupons to a csv and I'll upload and import, I'm going to develop it so that I can auto populate turn on and off based on date etc, but I don't want to do it if someone knows of a good one.

Additionally, does anyone know of a way to get a list of coupon codes from affiliates on CJ without manually going through the companies?

Thanks!

Interesting.
Yes, there is such a thing.

Code:

Code:

I think they don't fix v2.
It's a long time ago they closed the v1 salespage.

There are few solutions for the coupon niche. WPCoupon seems little pricry at $199 but their support is pretty good I have been dealing with pre-sales support and it's been very responsive

The demos available on their site suggest that their basic idea mimics RetailMeNot. I started a thread to discuss how to create a coupon site here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/affiliate-programs/184327-creating-deals-website-affiliate-links-joomla-wp-custom-made.html

Does anyone has any experience with WPCoupon or any other solutions on the market to create a deals/coupon site?

I think the real pain wpuld be signing up for so many different companies to do something like RetailMeNot.But if anyone can come up with a faster solution. Please chime in.

Well there are paid solutions that provide the feeds for deals/coupons and products.

There are probably few others, google "deal feed service providers" , "coupon feed providers" etc. I think these service providers provide you with a common format as opposed to different format that individual merchants may have. Also apparently they clean up the feeds etc.

The whole question is if the site is bringing in enough $$, the subscription cost to these feeds may be justified.

I would love to hear from others. There seems to be very little information available online about how to effectively run a coupon/deal site.. the guys how are successful in it of course are keeping a tight lid on the secret :-)
