Trying to get my site set up and there is a form in the template but not sure if it's a plugin or how the heck it works, can someone help me out?

download the jetpack plugin, they have a pretty sweet contact form

Jetpack plugin is easy. Install Jeckpack and then open a New page. There near the title you will see a small icon for contact form. Click it and code it appear in post and then just publish the page.

You can use contact form 7 for this purpose with really simple captcha if you want to add captcha in your contact us form. Add me up on skype i can explain you.
